02. City viaduct at the intersection "Centrum", Sverepec - Vrtizer, motorway D1, Slovakia
Contractor requested a change of a structure for the bridge 206-02b as a part of construction of Slovakian Motorway
D1 Sverepec - Vrtizer, II. segment. The change was mostly concerned with construction technique. Carefull consideration
of number of alternatives a launching technique was selected for the construction of this 470m long bridge
with 9 spans. The reason for the formentioned change was the cost savings and acceleration of construction.
The object is created by two parallel box girder bridges.
